Rostov on Don's

Witches & Vintage Postcard Gallery

I was fool enough to think a woman from Rostov married me for love, but in reality she was a scheming, evil and cruel witch, devoid of compassion who used, abused and exploited me to escape the city she hated. Initially there were over three exceptionally wonderful fun-filled years until the witch Tatiana-Ef obtained a British Passport and then she revealed her true identity. Her false love evaporated and I rapidly became redundant to her. As soon as she found a sleazy businessman with plenty of money and a penchant for witches and female warlocks, she was gone!

She is so ashamed of her plebeian roots in Rostov-on-Don that she states on Facebook that she is from St Petersburg!
Sshe is currently casting her spells in the UK and moving up the food chain. We should pray for her next scammed victim, who must be younger than me, have no health issues, no dependents and drive a Jaguar!
Why are witches and warlocks immune to love, oblivious of loyalty and indifferent about values of common decency?

Now over eight years since she flew from the nest, the pain is still there. So is the contempt I feel for myself, at being so stupid as to have believed in her as I sit here and repent my crimes of being too old and having insufficient founds to fund her desired lifestyle.
At least she is now behaving herself, or she has found someone who has lower standards than me!

Many thanks for messages of support and for sending tales of similar scams.

Meanwhile, to many this Don city is just a Soviet concrete jungle, devoid of personality away from scenic views of the Don:
However, many of the city's denizens are genuinely friendly, hospitable and most willing to help or entertain visitors to the once great Rostov-on-Don,
seen here below in these pre-Revolution postcard images.
